The fifth season of the adult animated, dark humor and sci-fi television series Rick and Morty is set to be a 10-episode series for the Adult Swim television network. The series was created by Justin Roiland in conjunction with Dan Harmon. The show’s plot follows Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith on their interdimensional adventures that take them to all sorts of surreal and traumatizing worlds.
In his quest to impress an alien race of anthropomorphic horses known as CHUDs, Rick uses a machine to collect horse sperm from the clinic where Beth works. Unfortunately the CHUD end up creating an army of monstrous sperm by accident to which Morty used the machine to masturbate. Forced to cooperate with the U.S. government to find a solution to the problem, at Summer’s suggestion an egg (provided by Summer) is used to attract the sperm and they manage to thwart the sperm queen’s plans. Unfortunately Morty reveals too late that the sperm is his and is unable to prevent one of his sperm, nicknamed “Sticky”, from fertilizing the egg. Although everyone is aware that the result will give birth to an incest, no one prevents the egg from being launched into space.

During the wee hours of December 2000 (while Ghost of Space from Coast to Coast was on hiatus), several of Williams Street’s new series were produced simultaneously and hit the channel unannounced with “sneaky” premieres. Underwater Laboratory 2021, Harvey Birdman, Lawyer, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and The Brak Show premiered unannounced;[7][8] the official grid listed the shows as “Special Programming”.
Adult Swim begins with a content announcement directed to viewers; this is followed by a sequence of sentences, written in white on a black background: it is called a bumper, and when it ends, the first program of the block begins. The bumper appears before and after commercials, at the end of a program and before the next one starts, and when a series is presented in advertising; by this means, the announcer introduces the programs or simply comments on something special, usually a curious fact or a celebration in which the Adult Swim staff has participated. The announcer will never be heard, everything is written by means of the bumpers.
